SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI (July 22, 2025) – Toth & Associates (TOTH) is proud to announce the addition of Rusty Worley as its first Director of Community Engagement. A respected community leader with more than three decades of civic service, Worley brings deep experience in urban revitalization, board leadership, and strategic partnerships to this newly created role. His appointment reflects Toth & Associates’ continued investment in building strong connections across the region.

Worley joins Toth & Associates after nearly 20 years as Executive Director of the Downtown Springfield Association (DSA), where he championed the revitalization of Springfield’s urban core. Under his leadership, downtown welcomed major developments like the Heer’s Building renovation, the IDEA Commons district, and new residential, retail, and entertainment offerings. He also expanded community programming and events to activate public spaces and enhance local pride.

“Working with local business owners to help launch and grow their shops and restaurants was one of the most rewarding parts of my time at DSA,” said Worley. “I’m grateful to the TOTH team for their desire to cultivate deeper connections in our region, and I’m excited to help shape this new role as we continue building a stronger community together.”

As Director of Community Engagement, Worley will focus on forging civic partnerships, representing Toth & Associates in regional initiatives, and helping team members identify opportunities to serve throughout the community. He sees this new chapter as a continuation of his civic mission.
