Description:

TOTH designed a new roadway to provide public access to undeveloped land within the Southern Hills Development in West Plains, Missouri.  Approximately 4 acres of prime real estate in the fastest growing area in West Plains will soon be accessible by the new Wendell Bailey Way; which consists  of approximately 1,350 linear feet of two-lane asphalt pavement with concrete curb and gutter.  The design of the roadway infrastructure included approximately 50’ of vertical elevation change and multiple mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls extending over 30’ in height.  TOTH’s services included topographic survey, right-of-way delineation, design of public roadway improvements and design of public utilities.  TOTH will be providing engineering and observation services throughout the course of construction, scheduled for the summer of 2021.  The project is anticipated to cost $700,000.
