Description:
The Webb City R-VII School District built a 65,000 sq ft Sports Arena at their High School Campus. The project included a 37,175 sq ft, 2-story FEMA Tornado Safe Room designed for an EF-5 tornado that will seat 2,000 people during sporting events. In addition to the arena, the project will include a new common area, cafeteria, locker rooms, weight rooms and class rooms. The arena is a 180 ft diameter concrete dome and the commons area consists of a 2-story steel framed structure. The project is 1 of 7 safe rooms designed by Toth and Associates for the Webb City School District.
