Toth and Associates provided structural engineering design for the construction of a new FEME safe room for Iberia School District. This project was completed in 2017. Structural services TOTH provided included cast-in-place concrete for footings, foundation walls, slabs-on-grade, and grade beams, as well as structural precast concrete, structural steel framing, and metal fabricaitons. Unit masonry included concrete masonry units, mortar and grout, steel reinforcing bars, masonry joint reinforcements, ties and anchors, embedded flashing, and cavity-wall insulation. Cold-formed metal framing included interior load-bearing wall framing, exterior non-load-bearing wall framing, floor joist framing, roof rafter framing, and ceiling joist framing.
