Hollister R-V School District Agricultural Building – Non-Community Well
Description:
TOTH assisted the Hollister R-V School District with the design of a non-transient, non-community well for the District’s new Agriculture Facility. As part of their 2014-2015 bond issue capital improvement projects, the District constructed a new, 7,000 square foot agriculture building. Due to the site’s distance from existing City of Hollister potable water system infrastructure, connection to that system was impractical. Therefore, the District constructed a dedicated potable water well for the facility. The well was drilled to a depth of approximately 500 feet with a cased depth of approximately 335 feet. A 7.5 hp submersible pump was installed to provide the 40 gpm required by the facility.
