TOTH designed a single span, 46-foot long steel I-girder or concrete slab beam over Wilson Creek on County Road 146 in Greene County, Missouri. During the project, TOTH suggested using advanced materials to repair the existing bridge, in addition to four others with similar issues. Preliminary estimates showed all five bridges could be repaired at the cost of one replacement, which would save the county approximately $600,000 in construction costs. During the repairs on all bridges, traffic continued to flow during construction.
