Since 2014, TOTH has been assisting the City of Rockaway Beach with various consulting services for their regional wastewater treatment facility. The regional facility provides treatment capacity to several surrounding communities including Rockaway Beach, the Village of Bull Creek, Merriam Woods Village, and the Taney County Regional Sewer District. Unfortunately, the facility has had a history of operational and compliance issues. TOTH’s past services have included an analysis of the financial stability of the treatment facility and recommendations for rate adjustments, evaluation of the facility’s flow metering devices, and evaluation of the facility’s past MoDNR and EPA compliance issues. TOTH completed the design of nearly $2,000,000 in improvements to help bring the plant into compliance. TOTh recently provided construction engineering, administration, and observation services to The City to see the project through construction.
