In early 2017, the Taney County Regional Sewer District (TCRSD) took control of two failing wastewater treatment facilities serving Big Bear Resort and Big Bear Estates on the shores of Table Rock Lake. TCRSD selected TOTH to perform a review of the larger of the two facilities and to design modifications intended to extend the life of the facility until new collection system infrastructure could be designed and constructed. TOTH designed two new lift stations, approximately 3,500 linear feet of new gravity mains, and more than one mile of new force mains in order to eliminate the treatment facilities by connecting to the City of Hollister’s wastewater system. TOTH provided construction engineering, administration, and observation services to TCRSD on the project.
