Every year, the Springfield Business Journal (SBJ) lists the local companies with the biggest impact on the region’s economic growth in its Economic Impact Awards feature. Toth and Associates, Inc. (TOTH) has once again been included in the SBJ’s list for 2025 in the 21–35 Years in Business category.

Since its founding by Louis Toth and his son, Adam, TOTH has expanded from electrical utility engineering into a variety of different service offerings and expertise, including civil and structural engineering, geographic information systems and mapping, and more.

TOTH President Adam Toth emphasizes that TOTH hasn’t forced growth, telling the Springfield Business Journal: “We keep our ears open for opportunity and, when we see an opportunity, we’re very nimble as an organization.”

This nimble nature has allowed TOTH to provide more specialized services, such as grant writing, helping local public entities secure FEMA funding and other sources, such as ARPA, for water infrastructure.

As TOTH continues to expand, its local connection remains a priority. Team members have raised substantial funds for area non-profits, and the firm partners with Missouri State University to retain regional talent.
