TOTH Olympics Returns for 2026
TOTH Olympics Returns for 2026
Back by popular demand, Toth & Associates, Inc. (TOTH) held its second annual TOTH Olympics on Friday, June 26, coordinating competition across TOTH offices in Missouri, Montana, and Oregon.
The contest brought together 112 employees from across departments and offices for a day of friendly competition and department pride. With 17 games on the schedule, this year included several new additions:
Snack Attack – Teams of three took on the challenge of eating three foods in specific ways, with the first group to finish all three named the winner. The first part of the challenge was to eat six Saltine crackers without a drink, the next was to eat a doughnut without using hands, and the final challenge was to have an Oreo placed on their forehead, which they had to navigate down into their mouth, also without hands. Despite the mouthfuls of food, this event involved a surprising amount of cheering.
Mario Kart – For this event, teams of two to four contestants from across offices raced together in four Mario Kart 8 Grand Prix games on the Nintendo Switch. Each person took on a different race, and the team with the highest combined score at the end won.
The Blindfold Challenge – Contestants had to scoop cotton balls from one bucket into another within a time limit, with the one who transferred the most being named the winner. It might sound simple, but contestants had to do this blindfolded and using a spatula to do the scooping.
Keyboard Sprint – Individual contestants had the chance to prove their talent for typing (or lack thereof) by typing a provided passage as quickly and accurately as possible in a set time.
Along with new games, returning favorites from last year included the 4×400 relay, the Tissue Pull, Office Chair Relay, Paper Airplane Distance Toss, and, of course, Cornhole.
After the scores were finalized, the Planning Department took home the Traveling Trophy for the second year in a row, with the Civil Engineering Department finishing second and the Substation team taking third. A huge thank you to everyone who competed, volunteered, judged, cheered, set up, took photos, filmed games, sweated profusely, cleaned up, and helped make the day a success!
