Experience:
With over 39 years of experience, Rick has accumulated a wide range of skills in the electric utility field. He has been working as a senior electric design contractor for City Utilities in Springfield, Missouri since 2014. His responsibilities include designing residential, commercial, and industrial electrical line extensions and services to provide electric service to new customers. Rick reviews, updates, and prepares electric construction standards as directed. He prepares sketches, drawings, material estimates, cost estimates, authorizations, and construction labor estimates, as may be required for both transmission and distribution lines.
While at TOTH, Rick has carried out field design activities, staking of single-phase and three-phase distribution lines, pole reviews, data collection, and transmission staking. Rick has also prepared and updated data for construction work plans and long range plans. He has experience in carrying out contract preparation and right of way easement acquisition. Rick has also assisted in the development of staking charts and structure drawings for electric cooperatives. Rick has over 25 years of experience supervising the production and quality of system detail map projects.
