Experience:
Jeff joined TOTH’s team after working for several years as the Manager of Engineering for an electric distribution cooperative. He is currently responsible for distribution planning for electrical power systems and operations assistance for the managers of those systems. He is experienced in performing Arc Flash Studies for those cooperatives, as well as aiding with coordination issues, system protection, and providing large fault currents. Jeff provides recommendations for new large loads for protections and requirement improvements, while also performing distributed generation impact studies.
Jeff’s prior experience includes substation design and construction supervision, design of transmission line protection relaying settings, and planning and design of upgrades to existing electrical infrastructures. His responsibilities have included both leadership and technical roles on engineering teams with projects such as distribution system automation, NERC compliance, and other reliability improvements.
