Jason is a recent addition to the Toth and Associates team in Planning Engineering. With a passion for the electric power industry and a dedication to driving its innovation, Jason spent the past 23 years immersed in the world of electric cooperative engineering and engineering management. Jason has played a key role in various projects and activities, contributing to the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity to cooperative members across Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Jason’s career in cooperative engineering began in 2000. During his initial years, he focused on the technical aspects of the field, gaining hands-on experience in design and analysis of electrical distribution systems, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical equipment, power system modeling and analysis, and project management.

Jason quickly transitioned into leadership roles, taking charge of engineering teams and projects of increasing complexity such as developing and implementing strategic engineering plans, leading and motivating engineering teams, managing budgets and resources, negotiating contracts with vendors and contractors, and presenting technical information to stakeholders.

Throughout Jason’s career, he has been involved in a wide range of activities that demonstrate the breadth and depth of electric cooperative engineering including designing and implementing smart grid technologies, improving the reliability and resilience of the electric distribution system, and collaborating with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.

As Jason continues his journey in electric utility engineering and engineering consulting, he remains committed to driving innovation and progress in the industry.
