Description:

The City of Rockaway Beach secured TOTH’s services to complete an engineering evaluation of their potable water system.  The study was funded through a Missouri Department of Natural Resources Drinking Water State Revolving Fund engineering report grant.  The City’s potable water system consists of two deep wells, a 200,000 gallon elevated storage tank, a 8,000 gallon pressurized storage tank, and approximately 10 miles of distribution piping serving over 400 metered connections.  The engineering evaluation included the preparation of a hydraulic model of the system in order to evaluate the existing and future conditions of the distribution, storage, treatment, and supply systems.  The report, generated at the conclusion of the evaluation, recommended approximately $3,700,000 in system upgrades and repairs in three phases.
