The City of Seymour secured the services of TOTH to design sewer and water main extensions to serve a 13-acre parcel known as the Owen Property. The property had been recently purchased by a developer who proposed a new commercial development for the property, including a Taco Bell. The water main extension consisted of approximately 1,130 linear feet of 8-inch main and 340 linear feet of 6-inch main that interconnected four existing dead-end lines; correcting pressure and fire flow issues in this area of town. The water main extension also included two bores under State Highway K and Business Route K. TOTH provided design services, easement preparation, easement acquisition, bidding services, as well as, construction phase services for the project.
