TOTH was selected by the City of Seymour, Missouri to conduct a Missouri Department of Natural Resources funded inflow and infiltration study of their wastewater collection system. Like many small municipalities across the state, Seymour experiences excessive flows at their wastewater treatment plant during wet weather. The study included field investigations, developing rehabilitation recommendations, developing a master plan for addressing I&I and improving the collection system, and seeking funding for improvements. The City’s collection system consists of approximately 17 miles of gravity and force mains and five lift stations.
