TOTH provided structural engineering, civil engineering, and land surveying services for a new two-story, clear story in the existing court yard area. This structure was surrounded on all sides with existing single- and multi-story structures. Additional areas were added to support the performing arts program, including the addition of a new safe room which doubles as a new performing arts auditorium and stage areas. It also features a fly loft with a showcase entrance tying all of the new elements together. Existing building structures were upgraded with new mechanical systems with support modifications as required. Structural systems included steel braced frames, load bearing masonry, and precast elements.
