Description:
TOTH provided civil engineering, structural engineering, and land surveying services for the design of the new Cedar County Law Enforcement Center in Stockton, Missouri. The $5 million project included a sheriff’s office, a 12,500 square foot parking garage, and a 14,500 square foot jail with capacity for up to 56 inmates. The structural design consisted of a composite steel floor system with block and bar joist roof structure. Civil site design included the development of sidewalk and driveway infrastructure to provide accessibility to the new facility.  The facility resides on approximately one city block containing nearly 15’ of elevation change across the property.
